New 2010 Four Door Porsche Panamera

Porsche recently presented the new concept of the Panamera four door sports sedan. The much anticipated new addition to the Porsche line up of cars will go on sale from 12 September 2009, and will be available in its top versions with V8 engine.

With a nice centre console that reaches into the back seat area, the Panamera offers a new concept for everyone in the car, having bucket like seats for the driver and all the passengers. The low seating position and the sport steering wheel make sure that driver has a great feel for the road ahead. With a great position for the driver, the car still has enough leg and head room for the passengers.

Mercedes SLK Gullwing

Brilliant new Mercedes sports coupe is out for everyone to see. Check out the SLK Gullwing. The german car company is planning to introduce it along with SLC supercar and it will probably be a hybrid. The model comes from Mercedes 300SL with doors that around mounted in the middle of the roof and as you can see for yourself open right up into the air.

It has very sharp body lines previewed by the new E class. And that’s not all, this one will also be environment friendly with the hybrid technology. It will powered by AMG 550 horsepower 6.2L V8 engine which should give enough power anyone driving this pretty sports coupe.

New 2009 Acura TSX

The redesigned Acura TSX is trying to take its place among affordable entry point for premium buyers. It will be using 2.4 liter engine and producing 201 hp and 172 lb of torque. For transmission you got two options, a 6 speed manual with new performance oriented ratios, and a Sequential Sport Shift 5 speed automatic with a new lock-up torque converter assembly.

The new TSX will be a little longer and wider so that should give it a little more presence on the street, but what this car could use is a little more hp under the hood to boost it from 200 hp. Might not be enough for the entry level luxury cars.

800+ horsepower Audi R8

Audi R8 is already a very fast car and it also has nice looks, but guys over at MTM didnt think that was enough. So they tuned it up for a european customer and presented it at the Dubai Motor Show for eveyone to see. This is what they did to it:

888 horsepower, 4.2 liter engine with a turbocharger system
610lb-ft-torque
goes from 0 - 60mph in under 3 seconds

Pretty impressive list. Interested in getting one for yourself? No problem it will only set you back 280 000 EURO and your R8 will become R888.

2009 Mercedes CLC Sport Coupe

Here is a photo of a new 2009 Mercedes CLC Sport Coupe thats been seen around the streets. By the looks of it, it will look pretty sharp falling in style with the new C class, with no drastic changes to the outside body lines. The coupe might get a stronger V6 engine.

Above is a picture of how the new CLC Sport Coupe will looks like. Smooth and clean body lines, no news about the enigine yet, we’ll see if this thing would be able to take on BMW and Audi with their coupes.

Honda begins production of FCX concept

Automakers all over the world are trying to spice up their car lineup and are getting themselves into the unknown. Nobody is doing more so than Honda, who is working hard at getting their FCX concept car into production. FCX is significant because it will become the first fuelcell car avalable for everyone to buy.

The Honda FCX is power by electricity, generated by its fuel cells, big enough for a family of four and comes with luxury options such as infotainment system, air conditioned seat and premium souns system. It bigger than the Honda Accord and the original concept.

Buyers would be able to lease the car for three years for around $600. The car would only be available in a few places because of the limited hydrogen fuel, limiting its use to people who live within 100 miles of a fill up station. Honda realizes that leasing such vehicles may hurt the company, but are confident that in the long run it will pay off.

Updated Opel Zafira

In December this year on Bolonsky Autosalon Opel in will introduce new version of the Opel Zafira. First time this family mini van been introduced in 2005 and this is his first update. Opel Zafira received new front, back bumpers and chrome detailing. New bumper includes new fog lights.

New 2008 model received new 1.6 liter engine and 1.7 diesel . This 1.6 engine has 115 horse power and CDTI has 110-125 horse power. The new model has special folding system for seats called Flex7 in every model in this series. New Opel Zafira hits the European market in February 2008.

Los Angeles Design Challenge: The Mercedes-Benz SilverFlow

A car which changes at a touch of a button to fill the owners needs, thats the idea behind Mercedes Benzs Silver Flow which is being presented at the Los Angeles Design Challenge held at a part of 2007 LA Auto Show.

If needed, this Mercedes-Benz of the future will become a fast highway cruiser, a compact city car or a spacious one seater depending on the task. This being made possible by magnetic control elements called SilverFlow, a look into the future by the Mercedes Benz, which would take only second to reconfigure the whole car from small metallic particles.

The Mercedes-Benz SilverFlow is one of the best concept cars at the Los Angeles auto show. Design Challenge, where 8 car design studios in California had to create the “Robocar 2057″ as a test to combine car technology and artificial intelligence.

Maybach introduces new car

The Maybach series is part of the Daimler AG. Few days ago this company officially introduced new concept in Maybach series called Maybach 62S Landaulet. This type of the vehicle has unusual body type. It has folding roof on top of the back seats and solid roof on top of the front row. In 60 seconds soft fabric roof can be folded in the compartment which cover in white leather. Roof folds in such way that side bars of the body are still in place. The interior made of the white color leather. In the middle car divided by the tinted window and percentage of the tint can be changed automatically.

This car has AMG 6.0 V12 engine block that includes two turbochargers and has 612 hours power. First this car been introduced in the Dubai Autosalon.
